Hi every one,with the tourist season 2009 reaching the peak in Goa thought of exploring the rich wild life reserve of the tiny state of Goa famous for sun,sand & sea.we will take you to all the important wild life sanctuaries of Goa in next few weeks.
And let us begin our tour with Bondla Wild Life Sanctuary.
Just for your information let me tell you that Wild buffaloes are widely found in the Goan jungles.and the jungles of Bondla has lots of them waiting for you.
The Bondla Wild Life sanctuary is almost 80 kms from the capital city of Panaji.and you have to cross city of Ponda & when you reach there you are very close to the Karnataka Border.You will be welcome here by huge posters wild life of Goa & you will see the picture of Wild Buffaloes every where.
Park your car & you are there welcome to Bondla.start with elephant ride & you can visit the dense forests & also try your luck if you can spot some exotic animals ,birds or snakes.
after the ride go to the small zoo take time to see all the wild animals in the cages which are part of the Goan wild life.the moneys,snakes,wild buffaloes,wild cats,fox,cheetah, corcs all are there in the zoo & you can forget your busy life at least for some.
take a lunch break in between & continue your exploration for some time.
few cottages are also available in the jungle if you want spend the night with these friends from the jungles.you need to book the cottages with GTDCs offices in Panaji or Margoa or Ponda.
night stay here will take you to different world .don't miss that.
now its almost evening time & you have to think of leaving this beautiful world of jungles.
